Feria Urbanism has supported Sutton Valence Parish Council as it prepares its neighbourhood plan.

Sutton Valence is a village about eight kilometres south east of Maidstone on the A274 road going south to Headcorn and Tenterden. It is on the Greensand Ridge overlooking the Vale of Kent and Weald. St Mary's Church is on the west side of the village on Chart Road, close to the junction of the High Street with the A274. Another landmark is Sutton Valence Castle on the east side of the village, of which only the ruins of the 12th century keep remain, under the ownership of English Heritage.

Our role has been to take the extensive amount of material already prepared by the community and rework into a neighbourhood plan of an appropriate format and with the right content ready for pre-submission consultation. Our team also prepared maps, diagrams, and other visual materials to be integrated into the plan.

The Feria Urbanism team is involved in other neighbourhood plans in a series of towns and villages including Loose, Hawkhurst, Lewes, Ticehurst, Paddock Wood, Staplehurst and Faversham. The team has also worked with a neighbourhood forum in Bristol. If you wish to know more about these other neighbourhood plan projects, please get in touch.
