Feria Urbanism has been appointed by Paddock Wood Town Council to assist them in the preparation of a neighbourhood plan.
Paddock Wood is a small town and parish in the Borough of Tunbridge Wells, Kent. It lies about 13 kms southwest of Maidstone and is the centre for hop growing in Kent. Our task will be to draw together the many different interest groups in parish to allow them to share ideas and develop a consensus around a single plan for the future.
In April 2016, we ran a successful Design Forum event when we explored in some detail the regeneration of derelict land in the town centre and the way in which a new commnity hall could provide a renewed focus for activity in the southern part of the town. The final slideshow from this event can be downloaded by clicking on the links, right.
The Feria Urbanism team is involved in other neighbourhood plans in a series of towns and villages including Hawkhurst, Lewes, Ticehurst, Loose, Staplehurst and Faversham. The team has also worked with a neighbourhood forum on the edge of Bristol city centre and a neighbourhood plan group in the heart of Southampton city centre. If you wish to know more about these other neighbourhood plan projects, please get in touch.
