We have been appointed by Horsmonden Parish Council to help them prepare a neighbourhood plan.
Horsmonden is a village in the Tunbridge Wells district of Kent. It has a history of involvement with the weaving industry, the iron and gun founding industry and the hops industry, and features locally traditional historic buildings, such as oast houses. The parish contains many hop gardens, orchards and farmland, numerous ponds, and woodland. The village is also renowned for its annual Gypsy Horse Fair.
We are shortly to host a Visioning Event for the community. This event will allow a variety of different community groups to have their say on a range of planning and design issues. This will be followed by further community engagement events in May and June 2018.
The Feria Urbanism team is involved in other neighbourhood plans in a series of towns and villages including Loose, Hawkhurst, Lewes, Ticehurst, Paddock Wood, Staplehurst and Faversham. The team has also worked with a neighbourhood forum in Bristol. If you wish to know more about these other neighbourhood plan projects, please get in touch.
